Libya Uncovered—the magnificence of Leptis Magna, Sabratha and Cyrene
Christopher Bradley
Closed for many years Libya was slowly beginning to open up to tourism and revealing its ancient Phoenician, Greek and Roman cultures. Sadly, with the recent upheavals, the curtain has come down again, so we are fortunate to have this lecture from an expert on the region. The third century AD is the golden age of the very finest examples of Roman mosaics and art.

Christopher Bradley started life as a civil engineer working in Saudi Arabia, then became a tour leader, lecturer, travel photographer and television documentary maker. The author of many travel guides to the Middle East, he is also a keen sportsman, being a scuba diver, marathon runner and triathlete.
